Due to the fact that the fibers of asbestos are extremely minute – approximately 20 microns in diameter – exposure to asbestos is highly dangerous. When these fibers are inhaled, there can be a lot of damage to the lungs and the abdominal lining. They can accumulate inside the body, and result in inflammation and scarring, which ultimately leads to severe diseases like lung cancer. This is why it is extremely important to contact trained and licensed contractors for asbestos removal San Diego in case this harmful material has been detected on your property.
The most common home-based source of exposure to lead is deteriorating lead-based paint, and the dust that results from it. Lead exposure can lead to lead poisoning. This is why it is crucial to have a lead paint inspection, abatement, and risk assessment conducted by certified professionals. If you live in an old house, it is a good idea to have it inspected for lead paint and asbestos. If these harmful materials are detected, you may want to contact one of the top asbestos abatement companies San Diego to properly remove and dispose the lead and asbestos found in your property.
During much of the 20th century, builders used asbestos as a roofing and floor backing material. It seemed, for practical reasons, good business sense to add the material to roofing products. Asbestos is found in a wide range of both indoor and outdoor roofing components. If discovered, regulated asbestos containing materials, can present certain concerns and problems. If you have identified asbestos in roofing materials used on your house, you should call the leading professionals for asbestos removal in San Diego to make sure that disposal of the material is done safely and properly, and meets legal disposal guidelines.
Are you planning to renovate your home? If so, there are quite a few things you need to primarily consider before the actual renovation begins, including the removal of asbestos. This is especially important if you own a house that was built before 1990. This is because asbestos is commonly found in these older homes. Therefore, it is important to test for the hazardous material, and know what to look for, and how to safely remove it from your home. To make sure that asbestos is properly removed from your home before you renovate it, you should research asbestos removal companies in San Diego, and hire the best one to get the job done for you.
